as the seasons change

As I sat in my church service tonight I looked out the window and realized that it was still light at 5:20 pm. Sometimes the season changes just mystify me, but the timing is really perfect don’t you think? Just as I start to become discouraged by the darkness and gloominess of the early evening there is a glimpse of light and I see that this time won’t last forever. I don’t know if I have any profound thoughts about this but I thought I would share anyway. I’m ready for the light!
